The Wire Series Finale (New York Times)  The many loose ends of The Wire (the above collage features some of the characters from The Wire) remain untied after years of hard work, bending the rules, and, in some cases, the most altruistic of motivations. While agreeing with the Times causes me a tad of personal discomfort, I will suck it up long enough to observe that they are correct when they rate the resolution of the show’s conundrums (i.e., that little is resolved) as “Perfect”
