These images are from Charles Berberian’s latest book, Jukebox. The above cartoon (which served as the trigger for Quiet And Devastating, Like Leonard Cohen In Cowboy Boots) is based on Dominique Issermann’s 1984 photo of Leonard Cohen smoking on a park bench and features the author discussing Leonard Cohen’s vintage boots with the Canadian singer-songwriter, exclaiming “Wow! The cowboy boots! What class!"

Once again, a caricaturist includes Cohen's cigarette, qualifying  this image for inclusion in the The Once Smokey Life of Leonard Cohen. All published images from this photo series can be viewed at Leonard Cohen – The Smokey Life.
